Eligibility :
- You must have Passed Class 10th (Matriculation / High School) With at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
- You must hold an ITI Certificate in the relevant trade (from NCTV/SCVT recognized institute) as the date of Notification.
- The ITI trade must be one those specified in the notification (for example: Flitter, Welder, Electrician, Machinist, Carpenter etc.)
Age Limit :
- Minimum Age: 15 Years as on 16 October 2025.
- Maximum Age: 24 Years as on 16 October 2025.
- Age Relaxation for reserved Categories :
- SC/ST: +5 Years
- OBC (Non-creamy Layer): +3 Years
- PWBD (Person with Benchmark Disability): +10 Years (or as per rules)
Syllabus :
- Matriculation (10th Class) marks: Ensure your 10th marksheet is correct, certified and easily accessible.
- ITI marks (In the relevant trade): This will count equally so good trade discipline & Understanding your trade certificate is important
- General Science(10th level)-Basic Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences
- Mathematics – Number system, Decimals, Fraction, Ratio & Proportion, Percentages, Time & Distance.
- Reasoning / General Intelligence – Analogies, Series coding-Decoding, Classification, Basic data interpretation.
- Total Questions : 100
- Time duration : 60 – 90 Minutes
- Sections : General Science + Math + Reasoning + General Awareness

- Register/Login (if new user) and fill the online application form: Personal details (name, father’s name date of birth, Aadhaar, Category), address, educational details(10th, ITI). trade preference, Preferred workshop/unit.

Selection Process :
- The Recruitment Process is merit-based – there is no written examination or interview for this particular drive (for NER 2025) as per the notification.
- Merit is calculated by taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained in matriculation (10th) in the ITI examination giving equal weighting to both.
- After short-listing on merit, selected candidates will be called for Document Verification(DV) -Where Original documents will be verified (10th certificate, ITI certificate, Category, Certificate, Aadhaar/ID proof, etc.).
- After DV and fulfilment of all eligibility, the final allotment/training scheduling will be provided, and selected apprentices will began training as per the schedule of the workshops/units.
