KVS and NVS Teaching and Non Teaching Recruitment 2025 Extended Date

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (KVS and NVS)  has released an official notification for the recruitment of Non Teaching and Teaching Posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply Online through the official KVS and NVS website. The last date to submit the application form is 11-12-2025. Interested candidates can apply before the last date  Candidates with B.Ed, B.Lib, Any Post Graduate Can Apply Online. The online application opens on 14-11-2025, and closes on 11-12-2025. The candidate shall apply online through KVS and NVS website, kvsangathan.nic.in.

The deadline to apply for the KVS and NVS Teaching and Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025 has been extended to December 11 2025.The application process was extended from the original December 4 deadline due to high traffic and technical issues.

Educational Qualifications 
Teaching Posts
  • Primary Teacher (PRT): Candidates need Senior Secondary (Class 12th) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), along with qualifying CTET Paper-I.
  • Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): A Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject combination throughout all three years of graduation, a B.Ed. degree, and a pass in CTET Paper-II are required.
  • Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): A Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate and a B.Ed. or equivalent degree are mandatory. 
Non-Teaching Posts
  • Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Class 12th pass or equivalent qualification is required, along with a typing speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on the computer.
  • Librarian: A Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or a Graduate with a one-year Diploma in Library Science from a recognized institution is required.
  • Assistant Section Officer (ASO): A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and at least three years of experience as an Upper Division Clerk (UDC) or Senior Secretariat Assistant (SSA) in Central/State Govt. bodies is required.

Application Process :

The application process is conducted entirely online through the examination portal managed by CBSE on behalf of KVS and NVS.
  1. Visit the Portal: Go to the official recruitment application portal at examinationservices.nic.in/recsys2025.
  2. Registration: Click on the “Apply Online” link for the desired post. Register using a valid email ID and mobile number to generate a unique registration number/login ID.
  3. Fill the Form: Log in and fill out the detailed application form with personal, educational, and experience details.
  4. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your recent photograph and signature in the specified format.
  5. Pay Fee: Proceed to the payment gateway to pay the applicable application fee online.
  6. Submit & Print: Review all details carefully before final submission. Print a copy of the final application form and the e-receipt for future reference.

Selection Process :

The selection process is a multi-stage process designed to assess candidates’ knowledge, skills, and aptitude.
Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT) / Written Examination 
This is the initial and mandatory screening stage for all positions. 
  • Format: The exam is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) covering various subjects like General English, Hindi, GK, Reasoning, Computer Literacy, and specific subject knowledge/pedagogy relevant to the post.
  • Schedule: The Tier-1 exams are scheduled for January 10 and 11, 2026.
  • Weightage: The score obtained in the written exam holds significant weight in the final selection (typically 60-80%, depending on the specific post). 
  • For Teaching Posts (PRT, TGT, PGT):
    • Demo Teaching: Candidates must deliver a short demonstration class to assess their teaching aptitude and methodology.
    • Interview: A personal interview to evaluate communication skills, subject knowledge, and suitability for the role.
    • The combined weightage for the interview/demo teaching stage is typically around 20-40% of the total score.
  • For Non-Teaching Posts (JSA, ASO, Steno, etc.):
    • Skill Test: Positions like Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) require a typing/data entry speed test.
    • Interview: Higher-level administrative posts (like ASO or Librarian) may include a personal interview. 

Stage 3: Document Verification and Medical Examination

  • Document Verification: Candidates must present all original educational, identity, and category (SC/ST/OBC/PwD) certificates for validation.
  • Medical Examination: Final selection is contingent upon clearing a satisfactory medical fitness test as per government standards.
