Eligibility Criteria :
Scientist / Engineering ‘SC’
- Required qualification generally: BE/BTech/BSc(Engg) or equivalent, and MTech/MSc(Engg) or equivalent, or certain posts.
- Example disciplines listed: Machine Design, industrial Engineering & Electronics, Atmospheric Science / Meteorology, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering.
- Age limit (for example): Up to 30 years for certain posts (as of the last date) in many cases.
Technical Assistant/ Scientific Assistant / Support Roles
- Diploma in engineering for Technician Assistant.
- For Technician ‘B’, Draughtsman ‘B’, etc. : SSLC/SSC (10th ) Pass Plus ITI/NAC/NTC in the relevant trade.
- For Others. cooks, fire-men: Prescribed Standards/trade certificates may apply.
Age Limit :
- Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’: 18-30 years
- Technician Assistant, Library Assistant ‘A’, Radiographer – A Technician ‘B’/ Draughtsman ‘B’. Cook, LVD ‘A’, Nurse ‘B’: 18-35 Years
- Fireman – A: 18-25 Years

- For All candidates : Rs 500/-
- For Woman, SC/ST/PWBD, Ex – servicemen: NIL
- Rs. 400/-i.e. after deducting the Application Fee of Rs.100/- in respect of all other Candidates.

Selection Process :
- Written Test (computer-based) for many posts.
- skill/trade Test for roles like Technician ‘B’, Draughtsman ‘B’, Driven, Fireman.
- Interview (for higher technical roles such as Scientist/Engineer).
- Document verification and medical examination. for example : Fireman posts will include physical efficiency test (PET) and medical clearance.
- Final appointment for those who clear all the rounds and meet all eligibility & medical standards.
