NHIDCL Associate Recruitment 2026 Eligibility :

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent discipline is required from any of the following:
    • An Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)
    • A National Institute of Technology (NIT)
    • An institution ranked within the top 100 in the Engineering category of the NIRF Rankings for the year of graduation or the preceding year.
    • Final-year students who are likely to complete their graduation before joining are also eligible to apply.
  • Domicile Requirement: This is a mandatory requirement. A person is eligible to apply for vacancies advertised for a particular State/UT only if they are a domicile holder of that specific state/UT.
  • Experience: Candidates should have 0-2 years of relevant post-essential qualification work experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Age Limit: 

The upper age limit is 30 years as of the last date of application. Age relaxations may apply for reserved categories as per government rules. 

Salary :

The salary for the NHIDCL Associate position under the State Specific Graduate Scheme (SSGS) is a fixed monthly remuneration ranging from ₹70,000 – ₹80,000 per month

NHIDCL Associate Recruitment 2026 Selection Process :

1. Application Screening
Candidates are initially shortlisted based on the information provided in their online application. Key screening criteria include:
  • Educational Qualification: Having a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized IIT, NIT, or a Top 100 NIRF-ranked institute.
  • Domicile Status: Possessing a valid domicile certificate for the specific State/UT for which the application is submitted.
  • Relevant Experience: Evaluation of the 0-2 years of required work experience. 
2. Review Committee Evaluation
A dedicated Consultants’ Review Committee (CRC) evaluates the profiles and applications of the shortlisted candidates to assess their suitability for the role. 
3. Interview/Final Selection
While some sources indicate an interview process might be part of the selection, the primary selection is based on the initial screening and profile review by the committee. The most meritorious candidates are then considered for final selection. 
4. Background Verification (BGV)
All appointments are contingent upon the successful completion of a thorough background verification process. This includes verifying the candidate’s identity, address, educational qualifications, character antecedents, and any other necessary information. 
5. Medical and Induction
Selected candidates must successfully complete a medical fitness check and a mandatory three-day induction module before their appointment is confirmed. 
The Competent Authority also reserves the right to prescribe “Competency Tests” at any point during the Associates’ tenure, which they must pass.
