Eligibility :

  • Candidates Must meet the minimum eligibility criteria as set by the Official for Punjab National Bank LBO Recruitment 2025.

Citizenship: Indian or certain other eligibility categories with a certificate of eligibility.

Education: Graduation from a recognized university with a valid mark sheet/degree by 23rd November 2025.

Work Experience: Minimum 1 year Post – Qualification experience as Clerical/Officer Cadre in Schedule Commercial/Regional Rural banks.

Age Limit :

  • Candidates Must be between 20 to 30 years with Relaxation for Reserved categories.

Reasoning & Computer Aptitude 
  • Reasoning: Puzzles, seating arrangement (linear, circular), coding-decoding, blood relations, direction sense, syllogism, inequalities, input-output, data sufficiency, order and ranking, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, and logical reasoning.
  • Computer Aptitude: Computer fundamentals, basics of hardware and software, operating systems, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet and networking basics, and computer shortcuts.
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation 
  • Data Interpretation: Caselets, tables, bar graphs, line charts, pie charts.

  • Algebra and Geometry 
General/Economy/Banking Awareness 
  • General Awareness: Current affairs (last 6–12 months), important days, awards, national and international news, static GK (like capitals and currencies).
  • Economy: Indian economy basics, economic terms (GDP, inflation), Union Budget, economic survey, fiscal and monetary policy, government schemes, and financial inclusion programs.
  • Banking Awareness: Banking fundamentals, types of banks, functions of RBI, monetary policy, financial institutions (NABARD, SIDBI), recent banking developments, and banking technologies.

Application Process :

  1. Register: Visit the official PNB website (Pnb.bank.in) and click the “New Registration” link under the Recruitment or Careers section to register with your basic details.
  2. Fill out the form: Log in with the provisional registration number and password to complete the detailed online application with your personal, educational, and professional information.
  3. Upload documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration in the specified format and size.
  4. Pay fees: Pay the application fee online. For SC/ST/PwBD candidates, the fee is ₹59 (₹50 + GST). For all other candidates, it is ₹1180 (₹1000 + GST).
  5. Submit and print: Review all details before submitting. After final submission, download and print a copy of the application form and payment receipt for future reference.

Application Fee :

  • Gen/OBC/EWS : ₹1180/-
  • SC/ST/PWBD : ₹59/-
  • The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid online.

Selection process :

  1. Online Written Test: This test consists of 150 multiple-choice questions covering five sections and is worth 150 marks. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. Candidates must achieve a minimum sectional qualifying score.
  2. Screening: Documents submitted by candidates who pass the written test are verified, and any inconsistencies can lead to disqualification.
  3. Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT): This is a mandatory test for candidates who did not study the local language of the applied state in 10th or 12th grade. It evaluates reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  4. Personal Interview: Candidates shortlisted from the previous stages are invited for an interview worth 50 marks. Minimum qualifying marks apply.
  5. Final Selection: The final merit list is determined by the combined scores from the Online Written Test and the Personal Interview, provided the candidate qualifies in the Language Proficiency Test.
